Got the holder for the house glued in, and the tiny pebbles glued in place.
Tree with swing fabricated and glued in place.
Picnic blanket with books and glasses fabricated and glued in.
Got the clothes line fabricated and glued in.
I totally screwed up and broke the lights. My electrician hubby is gonna try to fix them for me, but other than my screw up, the house DONE!!!
And just so you can see how small this thing really, here’s a shot with my coffee cup for comparison…
And once more by itself. It’s a home in a dome! 😂
Moss, ladder, wheelbarrow placed.
Vines wrapped and flowers added…
Table goodies. 2nd floor is done!
Dresser is done… (Sorry for blurs)
Teeny-tiny bedroom table:
2nd floor done:
House is assembled; lights are installed. Like how I covered up the unavoidable hole? Haha!
Cabinet, bowl, teapot, table chairs and rug.
Got the 2nd floor cabinet finished and installed.
And the building inspector came by to check on Big Blue…
Scary alien cat! Aaaaaaahhhhh!
Got the first floor finished.
These pieces are so tiny and hard to work with…
1. Get a bowl (cup, mug, glass) of water to keep next to you.
2. Dip fingers of both hands in water and shake off excess.
3. Carefully unwrap Raffia from one end to the other.
4. Moisten fingers as needed to keep Raffia slightly damp.
I got one roof piece done. One. This raffia stuff is a pain to unravel. It breaks if you breathe on it too hard.
Tomorrow when there’s no distractions I’ll work on the other six pieces. (Ugh.)
