The wizard happily welcomes the bar’s first guests: the Rabbit family!
Mama and Papa Rabbit are having coffee at the bar and chatting with Gerald Greybeard…
… while the kiddos are enjoying tea and donuts on the patio.
And here it is in its permanent home:
Got the iron chairs done today. Kit completed! 4 days total assembly time.
Welcome sign (with hours!)
Almost done; all that’s left are the chairs!!!
Under its own lighting
With flash, for that extra-sharp shot
Assembled shelf and placed all interior items.
The leaves were hard to cut out, but so worth the time. That’s my next step; attaching the leaves.
All done! Just gotta wait for the glue to dry and I can place it!
First, I finished the stool cushions. Talk about a pain… I ended up using hot glue and they still didn’t wanna stick. But after a long, tough battle, I emerged victorious!!!
Then I had to make a signboard, donut display case, and four gold trays for various pastries.
I managed to get through two trays; croissants and small puffs. The stupid coffee box refused to stay together, even though it was completely coated in glue. I finally ended up using tools to keep stuff pressed together for the first hour while the glue set. It seems to have worked… We’ll see in the morning I guess.
Tomorrow: cupcakes, large puffs, display cabinet…
